Discover the story of our unique building
Some buildings have a soul. The Studios @ Homelea sits within the historic and beautiful Quarriers Village, Bridge of Weir — a place with a remarkable story to tell. Today, those walls provide a serene and inspiring backdrop for wellness, healing, and personal growth.

How We Came to Homelea
The Studios @ Homelea was born out of a simple but powerful vision — to create a beautiful, nurturing space where practitioners could grow, thrive, and support one another.
In 2024, Ru discovered Homelea — a stunning but empty building steeped in history at the heart of Quarriers Village. With the support of Quarriers, what followed was a labour of love. Slowly and carefully, the building was transformed — and with every change, something special began to take shape.
The idea had been growing for a while. Having outgrown our previous space, it felt like the right moment to think bigger — not just about a place to work, but about building a genuine community. A space where practitioners from different disciplines could come together, collaborate, and lift each other up. A space where clients could arrive and immediately feel the difference.
Today, Homelea is exactly that. Filled with warmth, care, and the energy of the incredible people who work and visit here every day, it has become something we are truly proud of — an inspiring place to work, and a beautiful place to heal.

Our charming location in Quarriers Village
The Studios @ Homelea is housed in a truly special building — the original home of William Quarrier himself, set within the historic and picturesque surroundings of Quarriers Village, Bridge of Weir. Steeped in history and surrounded by natural beauty, it's a place that feels a world away from the pace of everyday life, yet is easily accessible from across Renfrewshire and beyond. We think the setting speaks for itself — come and experience it for yourself.

The legacy of William Quarrier
William Quarrier was a dedicated shoemaker from Glasgow who, in 1871, founded an organisation with a simple but profound mission — to help the many destitute children living in the city's notorious slums. A few years later, he opened Quarriers Village, a tranquil countryside refuge that offered abandoned and orphaned children a safe haven and the chance of a brighter future.
Today, that same spirit of care and community lives on at The Studios @ Homelea. We are proud to continue William Quarrier's legacy — nurturing wellbeing, supporting our community, and offering a welcoming space where people can feel looked after and restored.

A welcoming and relaxing space
Homelea is a building with real character — a thoughtful blend of traditional charm and modern renewal. Lovingly restored and brought back to life, it offers a genuinely calm and welcoming atmosphere that we believe enhances every therapy, wellness practice, and holistic treatment that takes place within its walls. Whether you're visiting as a client or working here as a practitioner, the setting itself becomes part of the experience.
"I highly recommend a visit to The Studios @ Homelea — you are in for a real treat."
